Bio

Michael Alan Penning PC MP (born 28 September 1957) is a British Conservative Party politician, who serves as Member of Parliament for Hemel Hempstead since 2005.

Penning is the current Minister of State for Policing and for Justice, having previously served as the Minister of State for Transport from 2010 to 2012, the Minister of State for Northern Ireland from 2012 to 2013, and the Minister of State for Disabled People from 2013 to 2014.
